Cole slaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- carrot, chopped - 1 item
How to make cole slaw:
Sprinkle sugar over chopped vegetables. Mix vinegar, oil, salt, celery seed and mustard. Bring to a boil. Simmer 3 minutes. Cool. Pour over cabbage mixture. Keep refrigerated.In memory of Marilyn (Montgomery) Bennett, Class of 1954.
