Cola cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• vanilla extract - 1 tsp
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 2 Tbsp
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• all-purpose flour - 2 c
• margarine
• miniature marshmallows
• plus 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
• finely chopped nuts - 1 c
• box powdered sugar - 1 oz
• cola - 1 c

How to make cola cake:

Cola Frosting:1/2 c. margarine1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cola3 Tbsp. cocoa1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla extract Combine flour, sugar and soda. Mix well. Set aside. Combine cola, butter and cocoa in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Gradually stir into flour mixture. Stir in buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and marshmallows. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Spread Cola Frosting over warm cake. Sprinkle with nuts.

Frosting: Combine butter and cola in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Spread on warm cake.
