Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
How to make coffee cake:
Combine 1/2 cup white sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Cream remaining 1 cup white sugar with eggs, oleo and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Mix slowly 1/2 flour mix and 1/2 sour cream into creamed mixture. After well mixed, add balance of flour mix and sour cream.Place 1/2 batter into ungreased tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cinnamon-sugar mix on top. Add balance of batter. Sprinkle remainder of cinnamon and sugar on top. Swirl with a knife. Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
