Ingredients/Components

  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp

  • cup margarine - 1 item
  • cup cold water - 1/4 item
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1 item
  • 1/2 cups sifted flour - 3 item
  • 1/4 cup coconut - 1 item
  • cup english walnuts, chopped fine - 1/2 item

How to make coconut washboards:

Mix together, margarine, brown sugar and eggs. Beat in water and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Fold in coconut and nuts. Chill one hour or overnight. Roll into small balls and bake on greased cookie sheet at 400° for
