  • sugar - 3 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 4 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 4 item
  • fresh coconut, grated - 1 item

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar until light. Add milk. Sift flour with baking powder; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Add eggs and grated coconut. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
