Coconut pecan frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- flaked coconut
- margarine or butter - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- can evaporated milk 2/3 - 1 oz
How to make coconut pecan frosting:
In saucepan beat egg slightly. Stir in milk, sugar and margarine. Cook and stir over medium heat, about 12 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool thoroughly. Spread on cake. Frost top of 13 x 9-inch cake or two 8 or 9-inch cake layers.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
