  • sugar - 2 c
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • salt
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • flaked coconut - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • hot water - 1 c
  • chocolate chips 6 oz - 1 c
  • Spoon filling on top of batter, then pour remainder of batter over top

How to make ring of coconut fudge cake:

Beat together all ingredients and pour half of batter into greased and floured tube pan. Spoon filling on top of batter, then pour remainder of batter over top. Bake at 325° for 60 to 75 minutes. Cool 15 to 25 minutes in pan.Filling:1/4 c. sugar1 c. chocolate chips (6 oz. pkg.)1 tsp. vanilla1 egg8 oz. cream cheese1/2 c. flaked coconut Mix well. Spoon on top of first half of batter.
