- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- softened margarine - 1/2 c
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make coconut cream cheese pound cake:
Cream the butter, shortening and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, stirring just until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until a wooden pick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Coconut.
