  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • Wesson oil
  • fresh diced apples - 4 c
  • Mixture will be thick

How to make fresh apple cake:

Mix sugar, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, oil, eggs and vanilla. Mixture will be thick. Add fruit and nuts. Spoon into oblong pan and pat down with fingertips. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 stick butter Cook 2 1/2 minutes and then pour over cake.
