Coconut cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 9 oz
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make coconut cake:
Sprinkle 6 ounces (frozen) coconut on greased 9 x 13-inch or 12-inch square pan. Mix a box of (yellow) cake mix according to directions on box. Pour on top of coconut. Bake according to directions on box. Heat 2 cups milk, 1 cup sugar and vanilla until sugar dissolves and pretty hot. Prick the cake while warm and spoon "milk and sugar" over cake. Let this cool. Spread 9 ounces Cool Whip over top. Sprinkle another 6 ounces coconut on top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
