Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- hot sauce optional - 1 item
- medium potatoes, diced - 2 item
- can baby clams - 1 item
How to make clam chowder:
Heat clams and juice on medium heat and add butter. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add vegetables and cook until potatoes are tender. Mix together milk, can milk and cornstarch and pour into clam mixture. Ready to serve when chowder has thickened.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
