- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- cream cheese, softened - 1 (8
- sticks butter, melted - 2 item
- cinnamon and sugar mixture - 1 item
- loaf white bread, crusts removed - 1 item
How to make cinnamon twist:
Flatten each slice of bread with palms of hands. Cream together cream cheese, lemon juice and egg; spread each slice of bread. Fold corners of bread over. Dip each roll in melted butter and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 425° until golden brown.These may be frozen and stored in plastic bags in freezer and baked as needed. Great with morning coffee!
