Cinnamon coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/4 c
- sifted flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
How to make cinnamon coffee cake:
Coffee Cake:1 c. flour1 1/2 tsp. baking powder1/2 c. milk1/2 tsp. salt1/4 c. shortening1/2 c. sugar1 egg Mix all topping ingredients together until crumbly.Cake: Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat shortening until creamy. Add sugar gradually, beating until fluffy.
Add sifted dry ingredients and milk to creamed mixture. Mix only until blended. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Sprinkle topping over batter. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.
