Cinnamon buns
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cream cheese - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg yolk - 1 item
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make cinnamon buns:
Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 c. cream cheese1/4 c. sugar3 Tbsp. flour1 egg yolk1 tsp. vanilla Mix ingredients thoroughly. Roll out sweet bun dough (as in Cinnamon Bun recipe) into a 9 x 12-inch rectangle. Cut into even squares. Put tablespoon of filling onto center of each square. Fold dough over cheese on two sides to form a pocket. Place onto greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
