Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon Cream together the first four ingredients. Add the dry ingredients slowly, alternating with the sour cream. Put half of the batter in a greased and floured pan. (One that holds a two-layer cake.) Sprinkle two thirds of the topping on the batter. Add the remainder of the batter and then sprinkle the rest of the topping. Bake at 325° for approximately 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
