cinnamon - 1 tsp
flour - 2 c
soda - 1 tsp
eggs, beaten - 2 item
boiling water - 1/2 c
nuts - 4 c
raisins - 1 c
cloves - 1 tsp
sherry - 1/2 c
candied cherries - 1/2 lb
candied pineapple - 1/2 lb
1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
cut up dates - 1 pkg

How to make christmas cookies:

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add flour, cloves and cinnamon. Dissolve soda in boiling water and add. Mix in remaining ingredients. Drop from teaspoon. Bake 12 minutes at 350°.
