Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 box powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans1 tsp. vanilla Sift together flour and sugar in a large bowl. Mix in a saucepan the margarine, oil, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients. Stir well. Add buttermilk, soda and eggs. Mix well. Pour into a 16 x 11-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400°.Icing: Start 5 minutes before cake is done. Melt and bring to a boil margarine, milk and cocoa. Add powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla. Mix well and spread on cake while hot.
