Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- In a saucepan, combine and bring to a boil, oleo, cocoa, Crisco and water
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour and sugar. In a saucepan, combine and bring to a boil, oleo, cocoa, Crisco and water. Pour over flour mixture; stir well and then add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well and pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes at 400°.Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 c. nuts1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Start icing 5 minutes before cake is done. Bring to a boil, oleo, cocoa and milk.
