- cream cheese
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 3 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Icing:1 small pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter3 Tbsp. cocoa1 box confectioners sugar Cream butter and Crisco together and add sifted flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt. Add milk and eggs, a little at a time; mix well. Add vanilla. Bake for 2 hours at 300°. Cool.Icing: Cream the cream cheese and butter together; add sugar, cocoa and a little milk until smooth enough to spread.
