Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- chopped pecans or walnuts - 1 c
- large can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- large can pineapple - 1 item
- Jiffy cake mix
How to make dump cake:
Spread pineapple in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch ungreased cake pan. Spread cherry pie filling over top of pineapple evenly, but do not mix. Spread the dry cake mix over top and then sprinkle nuts over this. Slice the margarine real thin and place on top of nuts. (Be sure you have margarine in corners of pan good.) Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until cake begins to brown. Do not let the nut meats burn.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
