Chocolate mint squares
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- flour - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- can chocolate syrup - 1 oz
- confectioners sugar
- creme de menthe liqueur - 3 Tbsp
- few drops peppermint oil - 1 item
- chocolate chips
How to make chocolate mint squares:
Filling:2 c. confectioners sugar3 Tbsp. creme de menthe liqueur1/2 c. butter few drops peppermint oil Icing:1 c. chocolate chips6 Tbsp. butter Mix sugar, butter, eggs, flour, salt, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.Filling: Mix confectioners sugar, creme de menthe, butter and peppermint oil. Spread on cold cake.
Icing: Melt butter and chocolate chips. Cool slightly. Pour over mint layer. Refrigerate.
