Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- Cool Whip - 1 c
- cold milk - 3 c
- finely chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- Spread on second layer
- Spread on first layer
- Press into oblong dish
How to make chocolate layer pie:
Cream until smooth. Press into oblong dish. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes. Cool completely.Second Layer:8 oz. cream cheese1 c. powdered sugar1 c. Cool Whip Beat in mixer until smooth. Spread on first layer.Third Layer:2 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding3 c. cold milk Beat until smooth and thickened. Spread on second layer.Fourth Layer: Spread with Cool Whip and pecans (optional).Store in the refrigerator. Can use other flavors of pudding such as butter pecan, butterscotch, lemon, etc.
