Chocolate fudge pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- butter or oleo - 2 Tbsp
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts - 1 c
How to make chocolate fudge pie:
Heat oven to 375°. Make pie shell. Heat chocolate pieces, milk and butter in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Set aside.Combine eggs, sugar, flour and salt in medium size bowl. Stir in chocolate mixture, nuts and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until firm. Cool before serving. Serve with whipped cream topping.
