Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- sq - 4 oz
- butter may use shortening - 1 c
How to make chocolate drops:
Melt chocolate and butter together over very low heat. Beat sugar and eggs together until well mixed. Add buttermilk and blend well.Combine dry ingredients and stir into mixture. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and cool.
