Chocolate crunch brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- 12 oz - 2 c
- crisp rice cereal - 3 c
- softened butter or margarine - 1 c
- creamy peanut butter - 1 c
- jar marshmallow cream - 1 oz
- baking cocoa - 6 Tbsp
How to make chocolate crunch brownies:
In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Stir in cocoa, flour, vanilla and salt. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until brownies test done. Spread marshmallow cream over cooled brownies. In a small saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in the cereal. Spread over marshmallow cream layer. Chill before cutting. Store in the refrigerator. Yields 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
