  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • flour
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1 c
  • unsweetened cocoa - 1/3 c
  • brown sugar packed - 1/2 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate bits - 1 c

How to make chocolate chocolate chip cookies:

In large bowl cream together until fluffy shortening, sugars and vanilla. Whisk in egg. Stir in cocoa and milk. Fold in flour and soda, mixed, and chocolate bits. Drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls onto nonstick (or greased) baking sheets. Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes before removing cookies from sheets. Makes 5 dozen.
