  • butter, softened - 1 c
  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 6 oz
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour
  • nuts - 1 c
  • milk chocolate chips - 6 oz

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Cream butter, sugars and vanilla; beat in eggs. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix until blended. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop by spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
