Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts optional - 1 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
- unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c - 1/2 pkg
- firmly packed light brown sugar - 3/4 c
- Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling or Royal pudding - 1 pkg
How to make chocolate chip cookies:
Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixer bowl, beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips and nuts (batter will be stiff). Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen cookies.For chocolate chocolate chip cookies, substitute chocolate instant pudding.
