Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• baking soda
• chocolate chips
• buttered flavored shortening - 1 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Mix shortening and sugars well. Add vanilla. Beat and add eggs. Add flour and baking soda; then add chips. Batter should barely stick to finger. Drop on ungreased pan and bake at 325° for 8 to 11 minutes, until golden brown. They will not look done (this keeps them soft). For variety, add other flavored chips.
