  • almonds, finely chopped - 1/3 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1/3 c
  • Crisco, melted - 1/3 c
  • oats quick or old fashioned - 1 c
  • milk or strong coffee - 1/3 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate pieces mini - 1 c

How to make chocolate chip cheesecake:

Filling:3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 c. granulated sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla3 eggs1/3 c. milk or strong coffee1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (mini)2 tsp. all-purpose flour Heat oven to 350°. For crust, combine all ingredients; mix well. Press onto bottom and 1-inch up sides of a 9-inch spring-form pan or 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.

Filling: Beat first three ingredients at medium speed until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Slowly mix in milk. Reserve 1 tablespoon chocolate pieces; combine remainder with flour. Stir floured chocolate pieces into cream cheese mixture. Pour onto crust. Sprinkle with reserved chocolate pieces. Bake 50 to 60 minutes (45 for 13 x 9-inch pan) or until almost set. Cool completely. Loosen side with knife and remove rim. Chill. Store in refrigerator.
