- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- evaporated milk
- cocoa - 6 Tbsp
- shortening - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- 1/2 sticks oleo - 1 item
How to make chocolate cake:
Filling for Cake:2 c. sugar1 1/2 sticks oleo1 1/2 c. evaporated milk6 Tbsp. cocoa Cream sugar and shortening. Beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Add flour alternately with milk. Beat well. Add vanilla. Makes 12 to 16 layers. Put four teaspoons of batter in each pan. Do not overcook. Bake at 350° for about 10 minutes.Mix filling together and cook 1 minute. Spread on cake.
