- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- cocoa - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 3/4 c
How to make chocolate cake:
In large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat on high speed 3 minutes. Very important. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with water to creamed mixture. Blend just until combined. Pour into pans. Bake at 350° in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
