vanilla - 2 tsp
salt - 2 tsp
flour - 8 c
brown sugar - 2 c
soda - 4 tsp
baking powder - 4 tsp
shortening - 1 c
margarine - 1/2 c
white sugar - 2 c
walnuts, if desired - 1 item
303 can fruit cocktail and juice
303 can crushed pineapple and juice

How to make hawaiian cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and the fruit. Add the flour, baking powder, soda, salt and vanilla. Drop on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350° until golden brown. Can be frozen and will not harden or freeze solid. Can be eaten right from the freezer.
