- milk - 3/4 c
- sour cream - 1 item
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- black olives - 1 item
- chili
- White Lily self-rising cornmeal mix - 1 c
How to make chili casserole:
Preheat oven to 400°. Pour chili into 8 x 8 x 2-inch casserole. Sprinkle cheese evenly over chili. Stir cornmeal mix, oil, egg and milk together until smooth. Pour cornmeal batter over chili and cheese. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until cornbread is golden. Serve and garnish as desired with olives and sour cream.
