Chili
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- red pepper sauce - 1/2 tsp
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- sweet Italian sausage - 1 lb
- cans whole tomatoes, undrained - 2 oz
- stew meat - 1 lb
- each: salt, ground cumin, cocoa, dried oregano leaves - 2 tsp
- cans red kidney beans, undrained - 2 oz
How to make chili:
Cook beef, sausage, onion and garlic in skillet until meat is brown. Drain. Put meat mixture into crock-pot and add remaining ingredients. Simmer 3 to 4 hours, stirring frequently or until meat and beans are tender. Serve. Top with shredded cheese and side of cornbread. Found in bread section.
