Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- pkg
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 pt
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- 32 oz - 1 qt
- small bud garlic or garlic powder - 1 item
How to make chili:
Cook beef in large kettle until it loses its red color. Add salt, pepper, sugar and chopped onion. Add tomato juice, water and chili seasoning; stir until dissolved. Cook slowly, about 30 minutes, then simmer about an hour or two. Add beans just before serving. Do not cook with chili.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
