Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/3 c
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- can Niblets corn, drained - 1 oz
- boneless chicken pieces, skinned
- green, red or yellow bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- fresh cilantro optional garnish - 1 item
- La Victoria salsa Victoria* - 1 (12
How to make chicken victoria:
Brown chicken pieces in hot oil for 5 minutes; drain off fat. Add desired La Victoria salsa and water. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Uncover; add corn and bell pepper (add more water if necessary). Cover and cook 10 minutes more. Makes 4 servings.*Remember that salsa becomes milder when cooked.
