Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- cooked chicken, finely chopped - 1 c
How to make chicken velvet soup:
Melt margarine in Dutch oven. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk and chicken broth over medium heat until mixture thickens or just comes to a boil. Add chicken and seasonings. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Poultry.
