  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • margarine - 6 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • cans chicken broth - 2 item
  • salt optional - 1/2 tsp
  • basil - 1/2 tsp
  • cooked chicken, finely chopped - 1 c

How to make chicken velvet soup:

Melt margarine in Dutch oven. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk and chicken broth over medium heat until mixture thickens or just comes to a boil. Add chicken and seasonings. Serves 4.
