Chicken rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- cans water - 2 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- large fryer, cut up, or parts - 1 item
How to make chicken rice casserole:
Grease a large casserole dish. Sprinkle uncooked rice over bottom of dish. Place chicken pieces on top of rice. Sprinkle onion soup mix over chicken. Mix mushroom soup with 2 cans of water and pour over. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover and allow to brown the last 10 or 15 minutes.Variation: Substitute pork chops for chicken.
