Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- chicken breasts, skinned - 4 item
- dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- brown rice, uncooked - 1 c
- chopped red and green bell peppers, onion and celery combined - 1/2 item
How to make chicken rice casserole:
Spray casserole dish with Pam spray. Layer all ingredients, except chicken, in order given, ending with onion soup. Top with chicken breasts. Cover with foil and cook at 350° for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. (I combine my soup and water before pouring over rice. This is a good, low-fat low cholesterol meal when served with salad and garlic bread.)Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
