Chicken rice bake
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water
- long grain rice - 1 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 4 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium green bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- stick oleo or butter - 1 item
- chicken, cut for frying or use only chicken breasts - 1 item
How to make chicken rice bake:
Salt and pepper the chicken. Brown in oleo or butter. Saute the onion and pepper in oleo after removing chicken. Crush bouillon cubes with fork. Add to onion and pepper. Stir in rice. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 1/2 cups water. Place in baking pan. Lay chicken on top of rice. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
