Chicken pecan quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- chopped pecans - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- pecan halves - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- chicken broth - 1/2 c
- 2 oz - 1/2 c
- 4 oz - 1 c
- mayonnaise or salad dressing - 1/4 c
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- drops hot sauce - 3 item
- chopped cooked chicken - 2 c
How to make chicken pecan quiche:
Combine flour and next 4 ingredients in bowl; stir in oil. Set aside 1/4 mixture. Press remaining mixture in bottom and up sides of 9-inch quiche dish. Prick bottom and sides with fork. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.Combine eggs, sour cream, mayonnaise and broth. Stir in chicken, Cheddar cheese, onion and hot sauce. Pour into prepared crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over filling; top with pecan halves. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
