Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • dry vermouth - 1 c
  • cream of chicken soup - 1 c
  • small onion - 1 item
  • salt and pepper, to taste - 1 item
  • to 4 whole chicken breasts, halved - 2 item

How to make chicken parisienne:

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown chicken in butter along with the onions. Arrange chicken in casserole. Mix remaining ingredients in pan used to brown chicken, simmering slightly to combine to make smooth sauce. Pour over chicken. Bake in 400° oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Can be made ahead of time but do not freeze. Serve over long grain and wild rice.
