Chicken livers and mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- dry red wine - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 c
- sliced onion - 1 item
- chicken livers - 2 c
- water or chicken stock - 1 c
How to make chicken livers and mushrooms:
Simmer chicken livers in the water/stock until done. Add onion, mushrooms, salt, pepper and wine. Simmer for five (5) minutes. You may thicken with a little cornstarch if so desired. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Beef organ meats.
