Ingredients/Components

  • dry red wine - 1/4 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • sliced mushrooms - 1/2 c
  • sliced onion - 1 item
  • chicken livers - 2 c
  • water or chicken stock - 1 c

How to make chicken livers and mushrooms:

Simmer chicken livers in the water/stock until done. Add onion, mushrooms, salt, pepper and wine. Simmer for five (5) minutes. You may thicken with a little cornstarch if so desired. Serves 4.
