Chicken korma
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- ginger - 2 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- raisins - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- onion, finely chopped - 1 c
- cinnamon sticks - 2 item
- cardamom - 1/2 tsp
- garlic, finely chopped - 2 tsp
- chicken pieces - 2 lb
How to make chicken korma:
In a large kettle, saute onion and garlic in oil and butter. Add ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and salt. Stir 1 minute. Add chicken and brown. Stir in sour cream. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Then cover and cook on low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add raisins and lemon juice. Cook for 10 more minutes. Serve over cooked rice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
