Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- chicken broth - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- onion - 1/2 c
- whole chicken - 1 item
- celery - 1/2 c
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- dry Pepperidge Farm corn bread stuffing - 1 pkg
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook chicken and debone it. Grease a large casserole dish and put 1/2 package of corn bread stuffing in bottom of dish. Sprinkle onion, celery, mayonnaise and salt over stuffing. Place chicken on top and pour margarine and chicken broth over the mixture. Pour other half dry dressing over this. Beat eggs in milk and pour over top. Refrigerate overnight. Remove 2 hours before cooking. Put soup over top. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes. Bake, covered.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
