Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- large chicken, cooked without skin and cut up - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Mix together the cooked, cut up chicken, cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, milk and water chestnuts. Spread half of dressing in bottom of greased 9 x 11-inch pan. Pour on the chicken mixture. Spread remainder of dressing on top. Bake uncovered at 275° for 45 minutes.Variation: Two cans cream of mushroom soup and more chicken can be used, if desired.
