Ingredients/Components
- chicken, cut in serving pieces - 3 3
- flour - 1/4 c
- can Italian tomatoes - 1 item
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- oregano
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- red wine - 1/2 c
- water
- can sliced mushrooms - 4 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Dredge chicken in flour. Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, garlic, oregano, thyme, parsley, pepper, wine and water. Stir until well blended. Add chicken pieces, turning to coat well with sauce.
