  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • cocoa - 3/4 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts optional - 1/2 c
  • butter or oleo
  • peanut butter chips - 2 c

How to make chewy chocolate cookies:

Cream together butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. These will have soft centers when taken from oven. Will be chewy when cool. Bake at 350°.
