- stick butter - 1 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make chess pie:
Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch glass pan. Mix cake mix with 1 egg in pan with butter. Spread out smoothly in pan to cover bottom of pan. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese and 2 eggs thoroughly. Pour over top of cake mix. Bake at 340° for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. Serve in squares. Serves 6 to 8 people.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
